The
Brunetti belong to the art of the 17th-18th
century like a dynasty of painters. Benedetto Brunetti worked at
the end of the 17th C.. Ciriaco (Oratino 1723 - 1802)
often worked alongside Stanislao. Other works, again in the
18th century, are signed by Paolo. From the end
of the 17th to the beginning of the 19th, the Brunetti
effectively contributed to the diffusion of Baroque painting through the
territory of the Molise.
Their works are sometimes
dominated by a taste for realistic representation, other times by the
anxiety of what is wondrous.
